A seven-year-old boy and his dad came up with a great idea for making money.
David and little Nathan gathered a 5-gallon plastic bucket, aquarium pump, three bubblers, tubing and mature compost, from the compost pile. Then they started brewing and selling compost tea in plastic, reusable half-gallon bottles. The first year, they sold $500 worth of tea. Nathan deposited $300 in the bank and donated $200 to a local, charitable organization.
I bought 6 bottles of tea. See my thriving lemon tree above. Now I have twice as many lemons as last summer. Let’s find creative and purposeful ways to prosper and share the bounty.
