Developed branding, messaging and marketing materials for Katalysis Partnership. The non-profit makes small loans to low-income microentrepreneurs, providing the resources they need to pull themselves up by their "bootstraps". 85% of their borrowers are women, and 100% are working towards economic/social self-reliance for themselves, their families, and their communities. This is Bootstrap Banking™.

Bootstrap banking is based on sound business principles, prudent
financial management and peer accountability; 97% of Katalysis loans
are repaid in full, with market interest, on time. Borrowers are required to set aside 20% of principal as savings, and repay the entire amount borrowed.

We are helping a Nigerian businessman envision an international online art gallery called Kamzigi, dedicated to carefully-curated, original African contemporary art created by emerging and established artists.

We are brainstorming ways to capture the spirit of modernism in Africa, develop a vibrant, evocative brand, build out an open-source, cloud-based digital commerce platform, create a user-friendly, responsive website, grow a social media presence, and launch with a credible voice.

Right now: Understanding your customers

Through interviews and research for one of our clients, a manufacturer of real-time data infrastructure application software, we developed six user personas, including "Nitin New Customer" above.

The six personas helped us better understand customer and prospect pain points, behavior patterns and goals. We used this information to develop and align UX/UI, branding, messaging and content.
